YMCA Outside School Hours Care is based at Burleigh Heads State School and welcomes all families of the Burleigh Heads community.
YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.
Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit - underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. We blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Burleigh Heads State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC will operate from 6.30am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Team members escort preps to and from their classroom. Nutritious breakfasts and afternoon teas are served daily to enhance the wellbeing of our children. Attendance at YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC can be on a casual, part time, regular or emergency needs basis.
YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC also offers onsite Vacation Care (Holiday Club) to the Burleigh Heads community. Holiday Club will operate from 6.30am to 6.00pm during all school holidays.
Detailed information about Holiday Club activities and associated procedures will be distributed to families leading up to the holiday period.
Parents/Guardians are required to enrol via our online enrolment portal before any child is able to attend YMCA Burleigh Heads OSHC – this can be found on our website: https://www.ymcachildcare.com.au/outside-school-hours-care register your interest by completing the waitlist application (not compatible with internet explorer) you will then be invited to register your account and complete the enrolment form.
A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment, this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any concerns and assist in making your child's time with us enjoyable. All enrolling families will receive an Information Package that includes additional information and relevant forms.
